NEW SINGLE RELEASE: I Will Be There (13/08/26)

This is a new song that has not been previously released. It’s about totally and unreservedly ‘being there’ for someone else. This is something I have tried to practice, particularly after receiving a Parkinson’s diagnosis, which can make you very self absorbed in your own predicament and unable to give much empathy and attention to others. The song is an attempt to practice a quality that counters that tendency. The violin is played by Martin Lauesen, so big thanks to Martin.

You can see a short launch film for the song here.

NEW SINGLE RELEASE: The Darkness (13/07/26)

This is a remastered version of a song from the second album. It’s about how dark or depressing moods, thoughts or states can be turned into opportunities for growth, healing and transformation. There’s light in the darkness, in other words. The song features two solos by friends of mine: Haftor Medbøe plays the guitar sole and Mike Chase plays the flute solo. Big thanks to both.

NEW SINGLE RELEASE: Have You Heard (13/6/26)

This release is a re-mastered version of a song from our second album. It’s about how we can often run away from or bury our biographical wounds and traumas by pursuing grand and maybe very idealistic projects and dreams. If this is the case, then what lies underneath usually show up sooner or later, leading to very different outcomes to what was intended. At least that’s how it is in the song. I’d also like to thank my friend Martin Lauesen for his beautiful violin playing.

NEW SINGLE RELEASE: The Other Side (13/5/26)

This is a song is about death, but not necessarily the final kind of death. It’s about radical transitions in life where everything dissolves, including deeply held beliefs and opinions. It’s about letting go of old certainties so that a new journey - to the ‘other side’ - can begin . You can listen the song here. You can see a brief launch video here.
